The Edmonton Valley Zoo has an Agents of Discovery app with which players can interactively play games and win prizes in real life while at the zoo. The zoo had posters up internally promoting the application but felt the app was not as successful as it could be. After discussing needs, expectations and budget, Marcomm Works created an animated video advertisement about the app.
The zoo wanted a fun and interactive video for the players that doubled as a way to draw people to come to the zoo. The client asked that we use a North American River Otter to be a main part of the video. We made him the narrator, explaining how the app, games and prizes work. Released and promoted on social media, the video was very successful in raising exposure and utilization of Agents of Discovery.
