Marcomm Works facilitated the branding of the City of Edmonton’s new public engagement framework. We helped City professionals identify the brand personality, the value proposition (brand promise), and worked with City graphic designers on the new visual identity. The branding of the new public engagement framework provides the City of Edmonton with a consistent and cohesive message to deliver to citizens in building an inclusive public engagement culture. The new brand headline SHARE YOUR VOICE SHAPE OUR CITY is complemented by messaging and a visual identity package to unify City professionals in their delivery of public engagement to a wide and diverse set of audiences. The new City of Edmonton public engagement framework and process for change resulted in the City of Edmonton winning the 2018 International Association for Public Participation Canada Core Values Award as Organization of the Year.
